Dear All,
To get you in the mood for Christmas there are a few events taking place in the next few weeks.
From Dorothy Heaton – Tottington and District Horticultural Society will be holding a talk at Greenmount Old School, Brandlesholme Road, Greenmount BL8 4DS on November 12th.
Peter Watson will entertain you with his theme of “ Season’s Greetings “ at 7.30pm. I think it will be about traditions & their origin, e.g. mince pies , holly etc.
St Hilda’s Festive Artisan Fair Victoria Street Tottington BL8 4AG. From 10am till 4pm Saturday 15th November. See full details on the poster attached. This is a big fundraiser for St. Hilda’s church.
Saturday 22 November Kirklees Valley Wildlife Rescue Christmas Fayre 11am till 3pm Greenmount Old School BL8 4DS.
Annual Christmas Cracker at Greenmount Old School (address above). Saturday 29th November 11am till 3.30pm. Square Street Singers will be performing at 1pm. This is a big fundraiser for Greenmount UR Church.

Yes, it is that time of year, and it seems to be coming around faster than ever. I have been asked to share the following information:
Here are the details for this year’s fabulous Hawkshaw Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival, being held from the 5th until the 7th of December. Please see the poster for details of the event.
Why not be a part of this event yourself? If you live in Hawkshaw you can enter your own tree in the festival using the application form attached.
The closing date to confirm you are taking part is this Thursday, 6th November.
