In addition to the Porch Boxes scheme which is running to serve our area there is also a food bank in operation at the Brandlesholme Community Centre, located next to the shops on Brandlesholme Road. In addition to requesting food donations they are currently short of shopping bags and egg boxes and have asked if we can share this message to see if anyone can supply these, either new or used.
All donations are gratefully received between 9:30am and 1pm each weekday.
