The entrance to the wood is just before the houses on the left, so you do not need to enter the housing development. Park up on the kerb as shown by the Land Rover.

The entrance to the wood is across the road and up the hill. Soon after joining the path you cross a narrow bridge and just carry on walking until you meet up with us.
