On Friday 5th June, Greenmount Village Walking Group organised a guided walk to Peel Tower which included short talks by local historians John Ireland and Christine Taylor. This was a fabulous walk with nearly 60 people participating and who were guided by a great team of walk leaders, who give up their time freely every week.

Also, please see the link below to Peel Tower video which was pulled together under the peel Tower project and is aimed at people who can’t access the tower for one reason or another. Maybe it’s distance or ill health anyway this video will help give people the experience if they cannot make it up to or into the tower.
