 Getting Help helpline poster

Please see the attached poster and share as you see fit. The helpline is for residents of all ages in Bury. They offer non-clinical, non-urgent support for anyone experiencing difficulties with their mental wellbeing. They can help with accessing the right local services.

Public Health update

I have attached the public health briefing for the borough of Bury – 10th December, 2021 which I have received from our communications team.

Exciting opportunity for a group to participate

(see their information below)

Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre is looking for a community group from the North neighbourhood to be involved in a creative project running from January- April called Sensory.
Contemporary artist and colourist Stephen Walton will be leading four workshops concentrating on exploring your neighbourhood through colour. Within each of the workshops, your community group will get the chance to socialise, learn, experience and make.
Workshop 1- Initial Meeting within community group venue or venue near you.
Workshop 2- Viewing objects relating to colour in collection at Bury Art Museum (Transport provided)
Workshop 3- An outdoor session in Ramsbottom and Tottington (Transport provided but the session will include walking).
Workshop 4- A Making session mixing paints and exploring the colours of your neighbourhood at a venue near you.
Your artworks, along with four other groups working within the different neighbourhoods of Bury will be shown in April 2022 at a unit in the Millgate Centre, where you can show off your wonderful creations!
We are looking for a group with around 8-12 members who might benefit and enjoy being involved in this project. This is an inclusive project aimed at adults, young people or children of any age and ability. We are flexible with how we go about leading these sessions to fit in with your group as much as possible.
Please express your interest to Gina Warburton by 15th December either via email [email protected] or via Bury Art Museum’s main desk number: 0161 253 5878.

Kind regards

Tracey
