Dear All,
Greenmount Village Community are holding a ‘Village Tidy Up’ on Saturday 20th April from 10am till 12 noon.
We are hoping to get some help to spruce up the village ready for the party on the 6th May.
If you can spare the time to help, please meet at the back of Greenmount Old School just before 10am and jobs will be distributed. These will involve –
- Litter Picking around the village green, playground, old school, etc.
- Weeding around the old school, Greenmount bench, stone wall outside doctors, Holcombe Road outside shops, etc.
- Dismantling of picnic bench on playground.
- Trimming of willow arch at the playground.
- Sweeping of the hopscotch area and general tidy up around the green.
- Putting up banners to advertise village party.
