Donations Required Food/Packaging/Baby Items

Good morning

I am putting out a shout for help from Brandlesholme Community Centre.

I was down there yesterday, and they are running low on carrier bags (ones with strong handles preferred) and egg boxes (max size 6) to package their good supply of fresh eggs.

Regarding food donations, rice, pasta etc. are in good supply but they are particularly short of cheese products, bacon, sausage, yoghurt, butter etc.

Money donations are also gratefully received.

They also operate a baby / family clothing and equipment bank from the centre, donations of clean, undamaged clothing and baby equipment are always welcome.

If you wish to make a donation, or if you, or anyone you know needs assistance they are open from 9am – Noon on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Brandlesholme Community Centre and Foodbank, 375b Brandlesholme Rd, Bury BL8 1HS (next to Mace/Post Office).

Thank you for your help.

Vaccination clinics

Please find attached details of next week’s vaccination clinics including Ramsbottom Civic Hall. The information on walk-ins has been updated, in summary, priority will be given to pre-booked booster vaccination appointments, however, the four vaccination sites can accommodate walk-ins without an appointment for booster vaccinations where capacity allows.  To guarantee an appointment they are asking people to pre-book.
